Data Scientist / Statistician

Title: Data Scientist / StatisticianLocation: Austin, TXDescription:Advanced degree in Statistics, Statistical Analysis, Data Science, and/or Mathematics; Engineering or technical degree a plusExperience in applied Statistics and/or Data Science, ideally within a consumer electronics or manufacturing industryExperience with forecasting and predictive analysis for field failure, reliability, quality, safety (or combination thereof), Weibull analysis, time-in-field forecastingExperience working with data analysis and visualization tools such as MiniTab, JMP, TableauSelf-driven, motivated, and capable independent worker with experience working in cross-functional settingsProject management acumen and/or experience a big plus, to include schedule management and/or familiarity working within JIRA/Conflunece (Atlassian) suiteTrack record or, and comfort with, communicating with cross-functional stakeholders and management, and producing data visualizations for their consumptionMS Excel, Apple Keynote, and statistical analysis tools (e.g. JMP, Posit, Minitab, SPSS, etc.)Proficiency and attitude for Tableau suite of toolsData visualization acumen, and the capacity to communicate nuances and conclusions effectively (written & verbal)
