Senior Level Calibration Technician with a strong background in the electronics test and measurements sector
to join our team in
Santa Clara, CA!In this role you will:Perform calibrations on high-level and unique test and measurement instrumentation.Use your troubleshooting, repair, and calibration knowledge to work on unique equipment.Help interact with customers to determine needs relating to traceability, adequacy of standards and test procedures utilized by Trescal Inc., as well as for items requiring repair or limited calibration.Ensure that preventative maintenance of the laboratory's equipment is performed in a timely and acceptable manner.Manage workload distribution for the technicians within his/her sphere of influence when the Laboratory Manager is not available.Perform daily inspections of the incoming equipment to verify: accessories and manuals are available, malfunctions of customer instrumentation, and to change equipment status when appropriate.RequirementsMilitary calibration training & work experience (PMEL OR TMDE) OR AS Degree in a technical field OR equivalent work experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience calibrating test & measurement equipment in a commercial or military calibration laboratory.Experience in calibrating multiple disciplines of Test & Measurement Equipment; i.e., Electrical/Electronics - DC/low.Prior use of Network Analyzer.Strong understanding of microwave and RF principles.Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize workload.Experience Calibrating the following would be a plus!Calibrating EMI receivers, power sensors, LISN, and CDN.Understanding of test codes such as IEC-61000 series.BENEFITS : We believe people are the most important part of every business, which is why we offer more than just great health insurance plans at a great rate.
