The Department of Mathematics seeks to fill one tenure-track position in the area of Applied Mathematics at the Assistant Professor level, beginning August 2024.Preference will be given to candidates whose research interests overlap with or complement those of the existing faculty, particularly computational mathematics for data science and machine learning, numerical approaches for challenging problems, or mathematical optimization.Qualifications

Candidates must have a PhD in mathematics or applied mathematics or closely related field; demonstrated research potential; and commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level. Post-doctoral experience and a successful record of external funding are highly desirable.Responsibilities
