Jazz Piano Teacher

Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance is seeking to appoint an hourly paid Jazz Piano Teacher for Junior Trinity, its junior department. This role involves teaching individual lessons at a rate of £36.55 per hour and chamber music at £45.69 per hour. The successful candidate will join a team located at King Charles Court in the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich.Responsibilities:Teaching individual students.Coaching ensembles for performances in renowned venues such as The Queen Elizabeth Hall, LSO St Luke’s, and Blackheath Halls.A minimum of 3 hours teaching per week on Saturdays for 30 weeks per year, with the possibility of up to 8 hours depending on student numbers and scheduling for the academic year 2024/25.All appointments are subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check due to the involvement with children and young people.The closing date for applications is 23:59 hours GMT on Tuesday, 20th February 2024, with interviews scheduled for Thursday, 29th February 2024.
