Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering and have zero to four years of related experience. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 90 days of employment.Typical responsibilities include:Design civil projects that may include water mains, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, roads, bridges, open drains, pedestrian pathways, parks, utility/miscellaneous infrastructure improvement designs, etc.Perform evaluations, and prepare design reports including opinion of construction costsDevelop construction plans using local and state standardsReview and interpret plans and specificationsPrepare/assist with technical specifications and permit submittalsAssist Project Managers with review of scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasksSelf-monitor task budgets and progressDocument design changes and communicationsConduct on-site inspections and field evaluations as needed for design purposesPrepare project status reports, technical memorandums and other written correspondenceAssist in the preparation of proposals and scope of workAssist Project Managers as neededAttend client, public, project and staff meetingsMaintain excellent client relationsMaintain a safe working environmentEducation:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is requiredSkills/Experience:0 to 4 years of related experienceAbout Wade Trim:Wade Trim is committed to maximizing the value of infrastructure investments.
