Job Details
Schedule: TBD (Typically weekday evenings and potential weekends)
Status: Part-time
Timeline: Ongoing
Work Locations: One on one with student in public setting (anywhere in San Mateo County)
Job Highlights
Pay rate: $22.00-24.00
Subjects: Math & ELA (Social Studies/History, Science is a plus)
Working with K12 students
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 60 units of college credits with a minimum of 1 year of tutoring experience (preferably Math and ELA)
Established proficiency in subject matter
Detail-oriented and highly dependable
Ability to communicate effectively
Motivation and passion to help students achieve academic excellence
Must have reliable transportation for in-person tutoring. If driving, proof of insurance for your vehicle is needed
Must clear reference check & FBI/DOJ background check processes
Must provide a negative tuberculosis test (valid within the last 2 years)
Please provide a copy of any certification you hold such as a Teacher’s Credential/Certification or Tutor Certification
National Tutoring Association certification available to StudentNest tutors
