Join our dynamic research and development team dedicated to advancing oligonucleotide-based therapeutics. We are seeking a highly skilled Ph.D. scientist to focus on the disposition mechanisms and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) relationships of our drug candidates. As a key member of our DMPK team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across Research.Key Responsibilities

Develop DMPK Strategies:

Formulate and implement DMPK strategies that align with our platform, program objectives, and overall company goals to support robust discovery pipelines and facilitate successful global drug registration.Collaborate on siRNA Delivery:

Work closely with Research scientists and project leaders to optimize siRNA delivery to target tissues, and aid in drug candidate selection, characterization, and progression into development.Integrate PK/PD Data:

Partner with Research, Toxicology, and Clinical Pharmacology teams to apply model-based approaches for integrating PK/PD and safety data to guide clinical development plans.Represent DMPK:

Actively participate in interdisciplinary teams, representing DMPK expertise and contributing to collaborative projects.Support Regulatory Submissions:

Ensure timely delivery of detailed reports and key sections of regulatory documents to support INDs, NDAs, and other global regulatory submissions.Qualifications

Educational Background:

Ph.D. in Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacology, Biophysics, Bioengineering, or a related field.Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of pharmacokinetics and PK/PD principles.Passion for Discovery:

Demonstrated enthusiasm for disease networks and drug discovery processes.Analytical Skills:

Proficiency in model-based data integration, analysis, and projection.Problem-Solving:

Proven ability to solve complex problems and use modeling and simulation for data integration.Communication:

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Experience:

Preferably experienced with oligonucleotide-based therapeutics, molecular biology, and genetics. Alternatively, experience with various drug modalities is also acceptable.About Alnylam:
