http://policy.unm.edu/university-policies/3000/3200.htmlThe Division of Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Preventive Medicine (EBPM), within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a Statistician to support research data collection, management, and data reporting in the UNM Statistics and Data Coordinating Center. The successful candidate will have a BS in Statistics or a closely related field and at least one year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. The Statistician will be responsible for building and maintaining REDCap electronic data capture forms to capture data from clinical trials for analysis, writing programs to generate data quality control and study status reports, and performing other tasks related to clinical trials implementation. Demonstrated experience using statistical software, including SAS, is required. Experience applying statistical methods used in clinical and public health research is desirable, and SAS certification is preferred. The successful candidate will have an interest in clinical trials and research, be detail-oriented, be able to manage multiple tasks, and be self-motivated and driven.The Department of Internal Medicine is a large, progressive department with a diverse staff working in dedicated teams to provide quality work in an organized, effective, and efficient manner through innovation, training, and education. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.Preferred Qualifications
