As part of our AI team in Amazon AWS, you will work alongside internationally recognized experts to develop novel algorithms and modeling techniques to advance the state-of-the-art in vision, speech and language technology. Your work will directly impact millions of our customers in the form of products and services that make use of vision and language technology. You will gain hands-on experience with Amazon’s heterogeneous unstructured and structured data sources, and large-scale computing resources to accelerate advances in multimodal understanding.A day in the life

PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experienceExperience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journalsExperience programming in Java, C++, Python or related languageExperience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computingPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
