The position offers opportunities to take on significant case responsibilities and manage junior attorneys.Duties:Lead and manage healthcare litigation cases from inception to resolution.Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in trials.Develop and execute legal strategies tailored to complex healthcare cases.Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and support staff.Conduct thorough legal research and draft detailed legal documents, including briefs and memoranda.Collaborate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel to advance case objectives.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting healthcare litigation.Represent the firm in court and at other legal proceedings as required.Requirements:3-6 years of experience in healthcare litigation, preferably with a large law firm.Proven track record of handling complex legal issues and managing cases independently.Demonstrated experience in taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and participating in trials.Strong academic background from a top-tier law school.Exceptional writing and analytical skills.Trial experience is a plus.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited, top-tier law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in the state of California.Skills:Exceptional legal research and writing abilities.Strong oral advocacy and negotiation skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.Proficiency in case management and legal research tools.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
