We’re looking to add a Data Scientist to the Team Expansion team to help us drive user growth among our existing customers. The Team Expansion team is focusing on empowering admins to activate more of their colleagues on Atlassian products, and we’re looking for a data scientist excelling in using data insights to shape the team’s direction.
We use rich, complex datasets for a wide variety of analytical tasks, ranging from conducting ad-hoc research, creating dashboards, building funnels, designing and evaluating tests, crafting complex database queries and ETL pipelines, and developing sophisticated predictive models. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, intellectually curious, and a clear communicator.What we’re looking for
3+ years of experience in an analytics role turning data into insights and recommendationsStrong analytical and communication skills with the ability to synthesize insights into compelling storiesExperience with designing and analyzing experimentsSuperior SQL (Snowflake, Postgres) skills - able to write structured and efficient queries on large data setsExperience with a Business Intelligence tool (e.g. Tableau or Hex)Experience with a statistical scripting language (e.g. R or Python) is a plusAtlassian offers a variety of perks and benefits to support you, your family and to help you engage with your local community.
