This position will manage personnel security databases and related information systems/software dedicated to establishing and maintaining personnel and industrial security related matters. Interpret DoD, DCSA, and GTRI policies, guidance, and procedures to ensure compliance of a largely cleared employee base. This role will also perform multi-faceted security management, working with faculty, researchers, and staff both on and off-site.Responsibilities

Perform indoctrinations and full-scope Personnel Security management for Industrial Security DoD Accesses, debriefs, and citizenship verifications.Provide personnel security and general security support to Facility Security Officers at multiple GTRI Field Offices.Advise management regarding personnel security matters in accordance with SEAD 3 directive and 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual.Perform security self-inspection reports in accordance with DCSA and GTRI policies.Perform Physical checks of security containers and maintain safeguards of PII and Controlled Unclassified Information.Perform support to Visit Requests and Authorizations for GTRI employees, conferences, and meetings.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma.Required Experience:

Three to four years of job-related experience.Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications:

Technical Diploma, Associate Degree, or two years college course work. Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

This job requires working knowledge and skill in the application security policy and procedures relative to assigned area. Included are skills in organization and written and spoken communications, record keeping and use of security related computer applications, including database management.Equal Employment Opportunity

Successful candidate must be a US Citizen. Grade A8. Anticipated annual salary $53,687.00 to $73,016.00 commensurate with qualifications.Background Check
