To support our growth we're looking for a Catering Chef de Cuisine to join our team!This role is responsible for the culinary quality, innovation and experience for the Compass at Google Catering operation. As the Catering Chef de Cuisine, you will also oversee the daily administrative and operational tasks, including financial management and analysis, sanitation and safety.The Catering Chef de Cuisine will focus on culinary quality and the Compass at Google Food Program experience in order to support operational excellence. In partnership with the Catering Executive Chef, you will leverage strong culinary and operational skills to collaborate with key stakeholders (culinary, nutrition, marketing, behavioral science, concept development, procurement, risk management, operations and people approach) to promote standards, Food Program expectations and enhance user experience.The great things you will do

Design, manage and own the overall experience, not just the offeringsHave a passion for quality food preparation and tasteFollow all menu and production/prep expectations and guides, opening/closing checklistPrepare well-balanced meals to fuel users through the daySet an expectation of hospitality that is friendly and engagingTrain and develop team membersEnsure that all products and ingredients that are used are purchased following sector and Food Program purchasing standards and sustainability commitmentsMeet all timelines for payroll, service, accounts receivables, human resources, and all other timelines given by our partner and managementEnsure that all training standards are met and documented, including Food and Workplace Safety principlesCollaborate with Catering Executive Chef to ensure all guidelines are implemented and adhered toWhat we look for in an awesome candidate

Degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program preferredTwo years management experience in a professional kitchenExperience leading teams through production and serviceAbility to create new, innovating and exciting dishes within guidelines of the food programStrong passion for great food and hospitalityExperience following strict Health & Safety standardsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalManages time effectively and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlinesCoaching and teaching skills with individuals and teamsCapable of working independently as well as in a teamAbility to work in a fast-paced, changing environmentWorking knowledge of Google SuiteAssociates at Bon Appetit are offered many fantastic benefits.Full-time and part-time positions offer the following benefits
