FACULTY POSITION IN FINANCE:
The Department of Finance at American University of Sharjah invites applications for a regular faculty position at the Assistant Professor level commencing in Fall Semester 2025. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the department’s research, teaching, and service. While we invite applicants from every field within the finance area, prior research or teaching expertise in trading, digital assets, alternative investment, quantitative finance, and derivatives are especially welcome. The salary is competitive, commensurate with experience, and tax-free in the UAE. Free housing, paid utilities, and other attractive benefits are provided.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
All candidates must have a PhD degree in finance from an AACSB-accredited university, preferably North American. Candidates must show great research potential, with promising working papers ideally on track to publication in top-tier finance journals. Existing publications in top-tier finance journals are a plus. A successful candidate should be able to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
