MGF 1130 Mathematical Thinking ,
MAC 1105 College Algebra , and
STA 2023 Statistical MethodsThis position will offer Face-to-Face, Online, and Mixed Mode modalities.Please note that you will need to establish and maintain Florida residency within 30 days from your start date if selected for this position.What is Our Process:Application collection begins: October 1st, 2024Application closing date:

Position Title: Part-Time Faculty, MathJob Type: FacultyFT/PT: Part-TimeGeneral Position Description: Primarily responsible for teaching in discipline or discipline areas in which he/she has specific training and/or competence. Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student learning in keeping with Valencia’s learning-centered values.Essential Job Functions
Prepares and delivers instruction to students in assigned modalities.Provides feedback to students in matters related to academic success in a timely manner.Prepares and submits required documentation including course syllabi and student attendance.Maintains and disseminates current information pertaining to services available to students throughout the college.Is familiar with and maintains behavior and actions consistent with college policies.Maintains professional development/growth according to personal needs.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Teaching experience at the community college level.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge and understanding of learning-centered values.Ability to design learning opportunities that promote student life skills development.Ability to effectively communicate interpersonally.Working Conditions:This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and a classroom setting.
