Landscape Project Manager

Overview:We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to oversee hardscape construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.
Duties:- Manage construction projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and close-out.- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure projects are completed according to specifications and within budget.- Oversee the installation of building materials and systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues.- Manage project schedules, including developing and maintaining project timelines and milestones.- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet design and regulatory requirements.- Interpret and apply project contracts, including managing change orders and ensuring compliance with project specifications.- Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents to ensure projects are completed according to plan.- Assist owner to manage project budgets and track project costs.- Ensure all construction sites are safe and secure, and that all workers on site are following safety protocols.- Collaborate with construction site staff to resolve issues and ensure projects are completed to a high standard.- Provide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders, including written reports and verbal presentations.- Identify and mitigate potential project risks, and develop contingency plans to address unexpected issues.
Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the hardscape / construction industry.- Experience with Google Workspace applications a plus.- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.- Experience with construction site management, including managing construction site staff and ensuring site safety and security.- Strong project coordination skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
