The Department of Health and Exercise Science at Wake Forest University invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position with expertise in Health and Exercise Science with an emphasis in clinical nutrition research to begin July 1, 2025. We seek an active scholar with a focused line of research that strives to improve the nutritional health of adults through lifestyle interventions. We are committed to academic distinction and diversity among the faculty, staff, and students. The successful candidate will teach a variety of Health and Exercise Science courses depending on the candidate's expertise, including Nutrition, Human Physiology, Epidemiology or Exercise Physiology. Other responsibilities include creating a productive research program of national and international significance; mentoring undergraduate and graduate research projects; academic and career advising of students; and departmental, college, and university service.Qualifications:

Applicants must have an earned doctorate (PhD or equivalent) in nutrition or a closely related field. Additional expectations include post-doctoral training and teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels; research experience with demonstrated scholarship via first-authored publications; mentoring undergraduate or graduate students; experience with randomized clinical trial research; and a demonstrated potential for successful extramural funding.Application Process:
