This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to join our team and contribute to the academic excellence of our school. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biology and a proven track record of fostering a positive learning environment.Day-to-day of the role:
Delivering engaging biology lessons to students from Year 7 to A-Level, ensuring that each student is able to progress and achieve their full potential.Preparing lesson plans and teaching materials that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.Assessing and recording students’ progress and providing feedback to help them improve.Keeping up-to-date with curriculum changes and assessment methods.Participating in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school functions.Encouraging students to develop a passion for biology and a curiosity about the natural world.Providing support and guidance to students in preparation for exams and coursework.Required Skills & Qualifications:
A degree in Biology or a related field.Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Willing to accept NQT or Unqualified.Experience teaching biology at secondary school level, including A-Level.Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that caters to the needs of all students.Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.Benefits:
