The principal purpose of an Assistant Professor in Agricultural and Biological Engineering is to contribute to the academic mission of the University by engaging in teaching, research, and service within the field of Agricultural and Biological Engineering.SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:As an Assistant Professor in Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Kentucky State University, the individual will have a comprehensive scope of responsibilities encompassing teaching, research, service, and professional development. Education:

Ph.D. in Agricultural and Biological Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. ABD candidates nearing completion may be considered.2. Teaching Experience:

Demonstrated potential for effective teaching at the undergraduate level. Experience in developing and delivering courses in Agricultural and Biological Engineering or related disciplines.3. Research Record:

Strong potential for scholarly research in Agricultural and Biological Engineering. Evidence of or potential for publishing research findings in reputable journals.4. Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey complex engineering concepts in a clear and accessible manner.5. Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:

Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment. Awareness of and sensitivity to the needs of a diverse student body.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
