Develop methodologies for analyzing MMS data.Support the development of novel plasma instruments.Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

Participate and carry out original research in magnetospheric and heliospheric physics.Support the development of particle and plasma instruments to be flown on upcoming heliospheric or planetary missions.Interact with the institute Staff engaged on a broad range of observational, computational, and theoretical research.Publish original research in peer reviewed journals.Requirements:

Requires a PhD in Space physics or related field with directly related experience.0-2 years: Spacecraft Data Analysis.0-2 years: Demonstrated expertise in Python, and/or IDL programming.0-2 years: Demonstrated publications record.A valid/clear driver's license is required.Special Requirements:

Must be a U.S. person (i.e., U.S. citizen, non-U.S. citizen national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) due to ITAR work in section.
