the application process for external applicants .JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:The Department of Statistics at The Pennsylvania State University invite applications for part-time online instructional faculty positions to teach in the Department’s online courses throughout the 2020/2021 academic year.The responsibilities include:providing program instructions in our online format and administering them through our learning management system (Canvas)incorporating innovative teaching methodologiesengaging in classesdesigning course material and assessmentsproviding personalized and substantive feedbackPrevious experience in online instruction is preferred. Additional information about our classes can be found at https://newonlinecourses.science.psu.edu/statprogram/. Applications must be submitted electronically and include a cover letter and curriculum vitae. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until all positions are filled. These will be part-time fixed-term positions, applications will be received on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as the need arise. The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
