To strengthen our Dermatology Marketing Team, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Thought Leader Liaison in the North Central Geography covering the territory of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, part of Missouri, Iowa, Kentucky, and West Virginia.The Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) is a field-based, non-sales role, serving as a catalyst for collaboration between UCB, Medical and National/Regional Key Opinion Leaders, as well as developing and executing strategic partnerships with dermatology conferences and organizations. The role also entails working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales Leadership, and Ecosystem Partnerships to ensure optimal engagement at medical meetings, commercial advisory boards, and other related activities, to help position UCB as a future market leader and true partner within dermatology delivering on the Patient Value Strategy. The TLL will assist in building UCB’s leadership position in the Dermatology market through strong differentiation of our value proposition and by connecting and leveraging stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.You like to work in an environment where you can:Cultivate and deepen relationships with KOLs in order to understand the appropriate partnerships to develop and pull through a successful strategic plan.Develop and execute strategic plans for dermatology conference presence and work closely with conference organizers to maximize pre-launch corporate sponsorship and branding opportunities.Develop and lead a regional Key Opinion Leader (KOL) strategy in the dermatology community for UCB.Effectively train and develop members of the speaker bureau when needed to ensure effective and compliant communication of key educational content.You will contribute by:Coordinating all commercial KOL meetings and HCP activities at dermatology conferences and working closely with cross-functional teams to maximize UCB’s HCP engagement opportunities.Collaborating with marketing to coordinate and pull through corporate & brand strategy, as well as branding execution at dermatology conferences & commercial advisory board planning and execution.Interfacing and collaborating with a variety of external and internal partners in a highly professional manner, serving as the “face” of the company and Dermatology Franchise at key conferences and events.Exhibiting strong influencing skills with those over whom there is no immediate supervisory capacity to achieve objectives.Being results-oriented, with attention to accuracy and detail, able to set priorities, and take appropriate risks in a compliant manner.Interfacing with key customers, accounts, physicians, practitioners, industry contacts, and consultants to accomplish corporate objectives.Understanding marketing terminology, trends, and adjusting accordingly.Demonstrating strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high priorities and evaluate results making go/no-go decisions.Exhibiting excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, highly skilled in presenting in front of groups.Developing and maintaining a keen understanding of the Dermatology business including customers and brand marketing.Operating at the highest level of UCB compliance and professional standards.Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience, and skills:Minimum Qualifications:BS/BA degree required.5-7+ years of experience in dermatology sales, marketing, KOL development, and/or other directly related roles.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working within the dermatology industry required.Experience working successfully with commercial and clinical functions.Prior launch and launch planning experience preferred.Proven experience at being able to build processes.Successful people leadership experience preferred.Prior business development experience preferred.Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or healthcare preferred.Ability to travel 50%.
