Providence is calling a Senior Research Associate. Remote - Most States Eligible.

This role is in the Health Research Accelerator (HRA) department within the Providence Research Network.

The Senior Research Associate works with HRA project leads and project teams, as well as external partners and investigators, on the design, planning, fielding, analysis, and dissemination of HRA's projects.

MAJOR CHALLENGES:

Maintaining scientific integrity in all aspects of a project.

Managing work across several, varied projects and re-prioritizing work when necessary to achieve all intended goals on fast-paced projects.

Communicating effectively to diverse stakeholders.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Develops and maintains knowledge of existing research, practice, and policy literature, as relevant to projects.

Collaborates in preparation of manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals or other dissemination products (presentations, briefs, white papers).

PROJECT ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Demonstrates understanding of overall project objectives, scope, and timeline, and engages in project meetings.

Takes initiative in client management, including responding to client communications and owning agenda items in meetings. Presents project findings to clients in consultation with the project lead.

Actively collaborates on project development, analysis, methods, approaches, and solutions, in consultation with project lead. Drafts project materials such as project plans, data collection tools, or technical assistance offerings.

Designs all study material for qualitative projects (in consultation with project lead) including interview guides and surveys; schedules and conducts interviews; creates qualitative analysis plan and completes analytic tasks in consultation with project lead.

Collaborates with project lead to conduct background research, environmental scans, and/or literature reviews and prepare summaries.

Drafts and formats project deliverables in consultation with the project lead.

Required Qualifications:

Master's Degree Social Science, Public Health, Public Policy, or related field, plus 2 years of experience working on projects related to research, evaluation, and/or analytics and strategic consulting. Work experience MAY be concurrent with education. Or

Bachelor's Degree Plus 5 years of experience working on projects related to research, evaluation, and/or strategic consulting. Work experience MAY NOT be concurrent with education Or equivalent educ/experience.

Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as Microsoft Access.
