The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $83,804 - $104,756.Electric TrainerDesigns, develops and presents electric technical training programs for Electric Substation Departments. Supervises and monitors training as noted in department training progression programs. Determines training and orientation needs for new department/division employees. Develops and conducts additional advanced training for incumbent operations staff.MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(Scope of work - range of responsibilities):Identifies, develops, implements and conducts advanced training for applicable incumbents that will address the future needs of the corporation.Develops and establishes standardized test procedures and performance-based training programs that will build on trainees’ knowledge, skills, expertise and reliability.Provides consultation and support to applicable department/employees by analyzing training needs and developing programs and reports that will assist with problem-solving.Supervises progression training programs for new hires, schedules training dates, and monitors competency, including LMS learning path build and tracking.Researches new methods, technology, tools and equipment that will result in competitive product costs.Work with operations to secure SME support as necessary to support training initiatives and programs.Serve as a lead subject matter expert responsible for ensuring accuracy of programs under prevue.Manage the problem identification and resolution process regarding union issues and monitor progress toward resolution.Increase communication and cooperation between departments by training and coaching subject matter experts and trainers to create streamlined approaches to training.Skills and Requirements• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience preferred. Associates Degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience or High School/GED with the completion of the relevant progression program and 10 years relevant experience required.• Extensive knowledge of specific operating departments and respective field tasks, training techniques, program development.• Knowledge of industrial, technical or adult education, program development and administration, engineering and/or construction principles and techniques, and work management.• Experience working in a formal management system.Skills/Abilities:• Results & proactive orientation.• Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.• Good problem solving and analytical skills.• Ability to act decisively in emergency situations and work effectively with all levels of the Company.
