Senior RV Resort Manager

who has just the right balance of management and sales skills and a real knack for great customer service. You will oversee and direct the day-to-day property management operations for one of our RV Resorts. This is a very guest-services oriented role, as much of our occupancy is short-term resort traffic. You will also have some sales and marketing duties to maximize residential occupancy. If you like the idea of helping to build and maintain a first-class RV resort community and you have the qualifications and background we’re looking for, we want to talk with you!OVERVIEWAs a Sr. RV Resort Manager, you will have responsibility for the operational aspects and the continued profitability of your resort community and will serve as the day-to-day point of contact for visitors and residents. You will be on-call 24 hours a day and will be in charge of everything from administrative activities, marketing, property maintenance and human resource management to all leasing and home sales and – most importantly – guest and resident relations. Ensuring a positive atmosphere and responsive service for the members of your resort community will not only mean satisfied guests and long-term residents, but also better word-of-mouth referrals!JOB DUTIESResponds to guest and resident inquiriesServes as the direct point of contact for Sun’s customers/residentsWorks with the marketing team to increase reservations and occupancy and further promote the Sun RV Resorts brandEnsures customers/residents receive a high level of service consistent with Sun’s Customer Service philosophyHandles and resolves guest and resident complaintsCoordinates team member selection, training, and development for resort staff and ensures all team members comply with appropriate policies and operational proceduresWorks with Regional Vice President (RVP) to quickly and effectively address issues which would adversely affect the operation of the resort or guest satisfactionEnforces resort rules and standardsMonitors monthly operating budgets and prepares monthly explanation of P&L variancesAssists RVP with preparation of annual operating budgetEnsures compliance with federal, state, and local agencies that regulate fair housing laws and resort operationsMarkets park models, pre-owned and brokered homes for sale in the resort as well as prepares documents to list and sell homesOversees capital expenditure improvementsREQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 4 years property management/resort experience, including 2 years of supervisory experiencePrevious sales and leasing experience,

preferredGeneral knowledge of property maintenanceAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of basic accounting principlesThorough knowledge of federal, state and local laws pertaining to fair housing and employment lawBasic computer proficiency, including email, the internet and Microsoft Office Suite; experience using Yardi and/or RMS,
