We have a commitment to our employees and a strong, accountable culture with a practice of giving back to our communities.What does a EHS Manager do at Rinnai?The Environmental Health and Safety Manager is the content expert to lead and develop the safety and environmental culture. The EHS Manager is responsible for managing daily site operations ensuring the highest quality of safety and service is provided in compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and established departmental policies and procedures. S/he monitors compliance with EHS regulations; oversees responses to EHS compliance audits; works on the design/implementation of EHS systems; supports company policies adhering to local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations; and manages compliance projects to remediate known areas of concern.This position is located at 500 The Lakes Parkway in Griffin, GA.Schedule: Monday – FridayShift: 1st ShiftOther Perks/Benefits: Best-in-class health benefit programs, 401k match, Paid Volunteer Community Service Day, and more.What you will do:RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and implement all Operations EHS elements within the 4 RAC sites.Develop and lead system audits to monitor conformance to requirements and to drive continuous improvement.Develop, manage, and take ownership of all system and safety compliance related elements (OSHA) that are applicable to the sites. Create safety programs for RAC that are consistent with corporate programs and systems. Ensure that all associate training is provided and documented to meet requirements.Champion all Safety engagement programs. Ensure that all management and associates are engaged in the programs and the teams are actively working towards meeting identified objectives.Lead Incident Investigations related to associate injuries, near misses, property damage, etc. Assume responsibility for the completion of all action items related to the investigations.Provide analysis of all data related to EHS performance at the sites. This would include analysis of injury trends, first aids, near miss incidents, etc. Develop metrics to track and report to plant management.Serve as company administrator for the MSDS system. Ensure that MSDS are up to date.Lead and ensure routine EHS and system audits to ensure compliance and support continuous improvement.
