champion equity, chase excellence, persist with purpose, bring joy, and help us rise together.As a Regional Program Manager of Multilingual Programs, you’ll leverage experience with effective content-based language instruction, instructional coaching, and biliteracy pedagogy to drive academic outcomes for emergent bilingual students. You'll serve as a language acquisition expert, utilizing your understanding of bilingual and ESL program frameworks and evidence-based language strategies to drive academic achievement and language development across all grade bands and content areas.With a focus on effectively implementing KIPP Texas's multilingual products and frameworks, such as Get Ready!, Summit K12, 7 Steps to a Language-Rich Interactive Classroom, and dual-language simultaneous biliteracy instruction, you’ll directly coach teachers, deans of multilingual education and school leaders on effective strategies to support multilingual KIPPsters. Through strong coaching and ongoing progress monitoring, you’ll play a vital role in improving academic and linguistic outcomes across our campuses.You know you are successful if you support your portfolio of schools to meet their KIPP Texas targets each year, leading to:Significant emergent bilingual student growth in language development and academic achievement100% of schools in your portfolio achieve an A or B rating100% of schools in your portfolio achieve the Domain III TELPAS growth measure.100% of schools in your portfolio achieve 90/75/40 on the Reading STAAR, with minimal gaps between EBs and non-EBs.100% of schools in your portfolio achieve 90/75/40 on the Math STAAR, with minimal gaps between EBs and non-EBs.Key ResponsibilitiesFocus on Achievement :

Demonstrate a deep desire and record of results to support schools with closing achievement gaps for all emergent bilingual learners. Understand the research and importance of comprehensible input strategies to engage all emergent bilingual learners. Hold high expectations for themselves as well as the leaders and teachers to remove barriers for multilingual learners from academic achievement. Use research and various levels of data analysis to focus on student outcomes and how they are achieved to support responsiveness to both strengths and areas of opportunities for emergent bilingual learners.Content Expert:

Demonstrate expertise and understanding of multilingual frameworks, pedagogy, and instructional materials in an area of content expertise. You have experience effectively implementing KIPP Texas’s chosen resources and frameworks such as Get Ready!, Summit K12, 7 Steps to a Language-Rich Interactive Classroom, and dual-language simultaneous biliteracy instruction. Stay well-informed of current curricular and educational thoughts, trends, and practices, as well as legislation impacting multilingual programming.Effective Coach:

Lead instructional improvement efforts on a portfolio of schools by planning and facilitating professional learning, modeling effective CBLI strategies, observing classroom instruction, and providing actionable feedback to classroom teachers, deans of multilingual education, and school leaders.Facilitate professional learning communities that drive emergent bilingual achievementProvide support to schools and deans of multilingual education by:Planning & co-leading content team focused on the execution of CBLI strategies within the adopted KIPP Texas instructional materialsPlanning & co-leading data team meetings focused on the academic and language achievement of emergent bilingual students by analyzing cohort comparison data and summit K12 data trendsLeading school-based practice clinics & teach backs focused on CBLI strategiesLeading weekly PLCs for deans of multilingual education in their execution of ELDA, Summit K12 and CBLI strategiesEngage in continuous data analysis and action planningProvide support to schools by:In collaboration with the school leader managers & leadership teams, craft and implement strategic response plans to meet the KTX emergent bilingual targets, including TELPAS growth and Domain III targets.Supporting school leader managers & school leadership teams in progress monitoring actions that drive academic achievement and language development for all current and monitored emergent bilingual students.Coaching deans of multilingual education on effective cohort data analysis practicesAnalyzing school-specific and regional data to identify emergent bilingual trends and support the development of response plans to meet annual goals.Progress monitor state and federal guidelines and policiesProvide support to schools by:Ensure that all state and federal guidelines are implemented across portfolio of schools by working collaboratively with KTX compliance manager and campus dean of multilingual educationAssist with Title III engagement activities to increase and strengthen the family, parent, and community connections and supports to emergent bilingual learnersSupport KIPP teachers in acquiring required Bilingual and ESL certification with the support of the HR and talent teamsAssist with planning the Summer Language Program recruitment, hiring, training, and monitor effectiveness aligned to students' growthCollaborate with regional and school-level CTCs to facilitate and monitor campus TELPAS testing plans for successful and accurate data collectionRequired Education and/or Experience:Minimum of 2 years experience as a successful assistant principal, school leader, or full-time sheltered instruction or bilingual instructional coachProven record of results driving emergent bilingual academic and linguistic growthDeep knowledge of content-based language instruction (CBLI), dual-language and simultaneous biliteracy instruction and pedagogyLeadership in planning and monitoring multilingual compliance policiesExceptional ability to set clear metrics for success, monitor progress, and demonstrate persistence in overcoming obstacles to achieving short- and long-term goals.Excellent leadership and management skills required; the ability to impact, influence, motivate, educate, coach, and inspire both internal and external audiencesExceptional coaching skills that lead to improved instructional effectivenessHigh self-awareness, humility, and integrityDemonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusionPhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Attending conferences or training sessions. This role will spend significant time in KIPP Texas schools with hybrid work options when not in classrooms. Typical office environment with frequent interruptions.Travel Requirements:Ability to travel to various locations: travel time will range between 20% - 60% depending on the candidate’s location.Compensation and BenefitsSalary is based on years of experience, degree of education, and level of expertise.
