Assistant Professor – Theatre Performance

Situated in the beautiful Finger Lake region of New York, the Ithaca College School of Music, Theatre, and Dance invites applications for a tenure-eligible appointment at the rank of Assistant of Theatre Performance to begin Fall 2025. Members of underrepresented groups whose exclusion has been longstanding, and who have demonstrated a commitment to minoritized communities in their teaching, service, and/or research, are strongly encouraged to apply.The successful candidate will teach assigned classes at the undergraduate level in beginning to advanced levels of acting practice, acting for the camera, and audition techniques/career preparation. In addition, the successful applicant would have secondary areas of expertise in two or more of the following: integrated voice and movement, movement for actors, stage combat, voice and speech, voiceover work, and/or directing.
