CLIN AST/ASO/FULL PROFJob Description:The Cardiovascular Center at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville seeks a full-time Electrophysiologist at the tenure or non-tenure accruing level of Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. This position reports directly to the Chief of Cardiology and Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Center. Major responsibilities include teaching and patient care. Salary is negotiable with an excellent benefits package.The Cardiovascular Center is a state-of-the-art facility servicing North Florida and South Georgia. Our rapidly expanding Cardiovascular Program is currently involved in numerous clinical research trials with a focus on education, clinical practice, and research.UF Health in Jacksonville is the largest UF campus outside of Gainesville, with more than 6,200 faculty and staff. UF Health physicians offer primary care and specialty services in practices throughout Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, tallying more than 650,000 outpatient visits and more than 40,000 inpatient admissions annually.The UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville is the largest of the three colleges at the Health Science Center Jacksonville, excelling in education, research, and patient care that expresses our steadfast values of compassion, excellence, professionalism, and innovation. The college's 16 clinical science departments house more than 450 faculty members, 1,560 staff, and 384 residents and fellows, as well as medical students from UF and around the country.Minimum Qualifications:Candidate should have an MD/DO and be BC/BE in Electrophysiology.Preferred Qualifications:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology with high interest and expertise in Electrophysiology.Special Instructions to Applicants:The Search Committee will begin to review applications on April 30, 2024.
