Working Title: Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) EconomicsClassification Title:Proposed Salary to be Offered:Appointment Percentage (Budget): 100%Position Summary:The Department of Economics at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse invites applications for one, possibly two, full-time, tenure-track faculty positions beginning August 25, 2025. Candidates must meet the following selection criteria:A demonstrated record of, or strong potential for, publication in peer-reviewed academic journals.Ability or interest in teaching data analysis for business course.Ability or interest in teaching one or more of the following areas: labor, public, health, or environmental economics.Clear and effective communication skills.Applicants should explicitly address how they meet each of these criteria in their cover letter. The teaching load for this position is 3-3, with class sizes typically ranging from 30-35 students per class.For full consideration, candidates must submit a cover letter addressing each selection criterion, a curriculum vitae, and three letters of recommendation. The review of applications starts on November 25, 2024. Applications received on or before Nov 25 are prioritized and review will continue until the position(s) is/are filled.
