Working Title: Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) EconomicsClassification Title:Proposed Salary to be Offered:Appointment Percentage (Budget): 100%Position Summary:The Department of Economics at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse invites applications for one, possibly two, full-time, tenure-track faculty positions beginning August 25, 2025. Candidates must meet the following selection criteria:A demonstrated record of, or strong potential for, publication in peer-reviewed academic journals.Ability or interest in teaching data analysis for business course.Ability or interest in teaching one or more of the following areas: labor, public, health, or environmental economics.Clear and effective communication skills.Applicants should explicitly address how they meet each of these criteria in their cover letter. The teaching load for this position is 3-3, with class sizes typically ranging from 30-35 students per class.For full consideration, candidates must submit a cover letter addressing each selection criterion, a curriculum vitae, and three letters of recommendation.
