We have an exciting opportunity for a hybrid remote mid-level Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Engineer to support our Syracuse, NY office.What you will do :The mid-level Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases for a wide range of multidisciplinary environmental projects that include:Remedial investigations.Site characterizations.Remedial design (RD) support under both state and federal programs.Third party construction oversight.Report preparation.What you will need :B.S. degree in environmental science, environmental biology, environmental engineering or related discipline.3-5 years of experience in the environmental industry.Experience with state and federal environmental regulations.Environmental field sampling procedures and protocols experience.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Familiarity with environmental and civil engineering practices related to site characterization and remediation.Experience with analytical data evaluation, summary, management, and performing field activities including well installation and multi-media sampling.Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to quickly and efficiently learn applications, systems, policies, and procedures.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Ability to work under variable conditions and be able to lift heavy objects (approximately 50 lbs.).Current OSHA HAZWOPER certification preferred.Valid New York Driver’s License.Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.What We Offer :401k with Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Low deductible health coverage for you and your family through Medical, Dental and Vision plansGenerous paid-time-off policyProfessional DevelopmentHealthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsEmployee wellness programEA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC
