JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:The Eberly College of Science, Department of Physics at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking to fill one

Postdoctoral Scholar

position in Atomic, Molecular, and Optical (AMO) Physics. The successful candidate will participate in the research program of Dr. Bryce Gadway's lab to carry out experimental research related to quantum simulation with ultracold atoms and Rydberg atom arrays. Ideal candidates will have experience in at least one of the following fields: atomic physics, quantum simulation experiments, laser physics and quantum optics, and quantum engineering. Related fields will also be considered.Education and Experience:Requirements include a Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering or related fields.Additional information:Applications must be submitted electronically and include a cover letter and CV. This is a term appointment, funded for one year from the date of hire, with the possibility of re-funding.
