Plant Technician, Mechanical
you will coordinate operation activities in the plant and/or assigned team during shifts, train new workers on maintenance procedures and maintain all operation records according to guidelines, among others.LOCATION:
Guyana, GeorgetownMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain and operate the plant during the shift according to company policies, procedures, and operation profile/plan.Recondition, overhaul and sub-assembly engine and auxiliary equipment components.Carry out inspections of all mechanical and pneumatic equipment and take corrective actions when needed.Comply with all safety regulations (including isolation, lock out and tag out) and perform emergency procedures to protect personnel and equipment in case of damage or failure of safety devices.Ensure that the working area, machines, auxiliary equipment, and tools are kept in good and clean condition.Create work reports according to guidelines.At Wärtsilä we value, respect and embrace all our differences, and are committed to diversity, inclusion and equal employment opportunities; everyone can be their true self and succeed based on their job-relevant merits and abilities.Wärtsilä is a global leader in innovative technologies and lifecycle solutions for the marine and energy markets.
