We are building our presence in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions and are seeking an

Environmental Compliance Technical Specialist

with experience in multi-media environmental compliance and permitting to assist us in our continued growth supporting energy, industrial, and other clients. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved with a range of dynamic and diverse projects with our clients throughout the U.S. This is a

full-time

position which can be in

one of our Mid-Atlantic or Southeast area offices, or virtually .DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESThe successful candidate will:Lead environmental compliance projects.Collaborate with colleagues to support client relationships and business development.Understand client needs and execute projects to achieve client goals.Coordinate with clients and regulators to support projects throughout the U.S.Understand Federal and state environmental regulations and evaluate and interpret requirements as they apply to our clients.Be capable of managing financial and technical aspects of projects.Be effective in assigning and managing work.Execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.Prepare project deliverables including reports, plans, and specifications.Demonstrate very strong verbal communications and written skills including client deliverables and regulatory submittals.Demonstrate strong coaching and mentoring skills.Perform all work in accordance with company and client Health & Safety protocols.Comply with Guiding Principles and Code of Behavior articulated in our Company Charter.Some travel may be required.SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

BS in chemical or environmental engineering, environmental science, or related discipline; MS degree preferred.10+ years of related work experience.Technical report writing skills.Communication skills and ability to collaborate with others in a consulting environment.Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, judgment, and problem-solving capabilities.Understanding of common industrial activities and the relationship with various environmental media/regulations (e.g., air, wastewater, regulated waste, EPCRA, tanks).Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and other standard software; GIS or CAD experience a plus.About Haley & AldrichHaley & Aldrich is committed to delivering the value our clients need from their capital, operations, and environmental projects.
