Wellesley MAFull timeR0013322The Administrative Assistant provides primary support for the Office Manager, Director of Health Services, and the students of Babson and the Olin College of Engineering. Responsible for daily administrative operation and clerical needs of Health Services and provides general administrative support to the nurses and clinicians.Health Services is part of the Student Success Portfolio in the Division of Learner Success and Campus Life, which also includes Accessibility Services, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Student Advising & Success, Wellness & Prevention Services, the Peers On Wellness (POW) peer health education program, and the Campus Assessment, Response, & Evaluation (CARE) Team.About Babson Student Success: Taking an integrative, synergetic, student-centered approach to developing entrepreneurial leaders by providing a seamless and supportive living-learning environment that prioritizes self-advocacy, health, and well-being as central to academic, personal, and professional success.This is a 35 hour a week, 42 week per year position.WHAT YOU WILL DOAssists the Office Manager in greeting patients and others who present, triaging phone calls and scheduling appointments.Performs reception duties that include scanning, copying, faxing, closing procedures, etc.Assists the Office Manager in monitoring and responding to the Health Services email account and distributing health insurance cards.Assists the Director and the immunization compliance nurse in ensuring the College's compliance with Massachusetts's immunization regulation and Federal OSHA standards regarding risk exposure.Assists the Director in maintaining medical, laboratory, and nutrition supply inventory, and expiration dates; places orders for new materials as needed.Maintains and monitors student prescription medications delivered to Health services.Monitors patient referrals and assists students with off-campus scheduling needs.Assists with website content updates and other patient resources.Assists with other projects as needed.Assumes additional responsibilities as required.YOUR TEAM WILL INCLUDEN/AWHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEEDAssociate's Degree and equivalent experience.Prefer

3-5 years of experience working in a medical setting.Must have excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills.Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks with frequent interruptions while meeting strict deadlines.Ability to work independently and as a team, anticipate needs, act with sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of work.Must have technical skills including experience working with EMR systems and Outlook; as well as proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.Maintains strict confidentiality and compliance with health care regulations.Ability to

envision and propose new methods to perform tasks

that support ET&A; take thoughtful risks; and accept new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.Ability to anticipate and embrace change; demonstrate willingness to achieve, acquire, and utilize new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions.HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORKMust be able to stand or sit for long periods.May require occasional heavy lifting.May require participation in health events outside of the health center such as flu clinics, student wellness fairs, and Health Services tabling events.Requires work onsite 5 days a week; the on-campus requirement is subject to modification based on organizational need.This is a 35 hour a week, 42 week per year position.ADDITIONAL SKILLS YOU MAY HAVEPositive attitude, empathy, passion for college health.Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.CPR certification BLS provider (CPR & AED).About UsWe're all different.
