Technical Lead, Information Security Detection Engineering .The primary responsibility of this role is to be the principal expert for the security engineering team to provide oversight for day-to-day engineering activities and maintain Toyota's security services.What you'll be doing

Oversee the design, testing, and implementation of security content (i.e. custom detections, indicators of attack, etc.) within Security PlatformsCollaborate with the Security Operations teams and stakeholders on new or emerging Attacker Tactics, Techniques and ProcessesLead intake and requirements grooming discussions with partner teamsAssist in Incident Response and Threat Hunting in an as needed capacityIdentify and improve processes through automation and defined measurements for ongoing program maturityLead and influence current and future technology decisions with management, Security Architects, and other stakeholdersMaintain an active awareness of cyber threats, countermeasure technologies, and industry trendsDevelop, maintain, and standardize security detection engineering documentation including but not limited to design, configuration, and procedural materials following internal and industry best practicesConduct and participate in security training and knowledge sharing to grow team skills and talentsWhat You Bring

At least 5 years of experience in Cyber Security, with a focus on detection engineeringProficient in scripting language such as PythonExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and recommend effective solutionsIn-depth knowledge of the threat landscape and security controls used to defend the enterpriseA positive attitude and a customer service-oriented mindsetStrong verbal and written abilities to engage with technical and non-technical resourcesHighly organized and detail orientedSelf-motivated personality who can work independently and in team settings with minimal direction or guidanceAdded bonus if you have

Cyber Security relevant certifications including CISSP, CEH, CCSP, or similarStrong understanding of cyber security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.Experience with developing and implementing Cyber Security policies and standardsRisk Management experience in a regulated environmentKnowledge of Cyber Security regulations and lawsCyber Incident Response experienceWhat We'll Bring
