Truman College Continuing Education is seeking an instructor to teach Conversational Spanish classes. If you have a passion for teaching and learning and are committed to the mission of the community college, consider joining our team.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:·
Teach Conversational Spanish to all levels of learners from beginning to advanced.•
Set up courses via Brightspace and teach online via Zoom or MS Teams.•
Fulfill the assigned schedule, maintain accurate student attendance and grade records, maintain a positive instructional environment, and provide opportunities for student evaluation.·
Adhere to the City Colleges of Chicago code of ethics, board rules, policies and procedures.QUALIFICATIONS:Excellent Spanish language skills and appropriate educational background. Bachelor’s degree preferred.Experience teaching a diverse student population. Ability to interact effectively with a variety of demographic groups.Proficiency with Zoom or MS Teams.
