Electrical Consultants, Inc., a leading power engineering consultant firm, has an immediate opening for an experienced Environmental Project Manager in ECI's Environmental Services team. ECI specializes in engineering services to electric utilities (substation, protection, transmission), alternative energy systems, communication, oil/gas, mining, and heavy industry. The successful candidate will serve as environmental planner on the development of federal, state, and local environmental documents, siting studies, and feasibility studies. The project manager will also assist with executing the construction planning and permitting for construction projects.

Minimum Requirements:

BA/BS in geography, environmental planning, environmental science, engineering, or related field;

5-10 years' experience in environmental planning or related experience gained through academic study;

Excellent communication and organizational skills;

Experience in technical writing is required;

Successful applicant is subject to client mandated drug and background checking;

Occasional travel/driving required;

Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future.
