£40,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experienceAs an Environmental, Health & Safety Officer, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful contribution by supporting your clients in achieving their objectives and working collaboratively with different groups. Demonstrating expertise in health, safety, environment and quality is essential.Main Duties & Responsibilities

Offer hands-on, technical HSE guidance to the Senior Leadership Team and Department Managers.Assist the business in achieving and surpassing HSE goals by conducting onsite evaluations and audits and producing comprehensive reports that recommend actionable plans.Use problem-solving skills to find practical solutions for improvement and embed changes.Draft professional and succinct reports and documentation. Develop, implement and audit management systems in accordance with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and ISO50001 standards.Maintain healthy relationships with colleagues, subcontractors and customers using interpersonal and active listening skills.Host informative presentations to Department Managers that expand their knowledge on health, safety, environment and quality standards.Maintain intricate knowledge of legislation, guidance and advancements in the fields of health, safety, environment and quality.Key Skills

Mandatory:Degree or recognised higher qualification in Health and Safety.Hold an intricate knowledge of UK HSE legislation.3+ years of relevant work experience.Background of implementing management systems to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 standards.Exceptional document writing skills and computer literacy.Desirable:Further environmental, auditing or training qualifications.Extensive, hands-on experience in high-risk job roles and/or industries.Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to respond to all candidates.
