What is the job about?

As the EHS Senior Manager for the Water Utility segment at Grundfos, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the achievement of the Group's environmental, health, and safety targets and ambitions within the division. This encompasses Operations, Sales, Service, and Staff function activities. You will play a crucial role in developing EHS efforts by deploying relevant policies, programs, and processes through collaboration, supervision, instruction, training, and coaching key stakeholders within the division.

To effectively carry out this role, you will have a hybrid work arrangement or may work fully from our Brookshire, TX facility. Reporting to the Group EHS Senior Director as part of the EHS Group team, you will have authority and responsibility for the Water Utility division. Your role will involve close coordination and two-way communication with Group EHS Team (GEHS), ensuring alignment, sharing best practices, and promoting continuous improvement in EHS performance as member of the global Group EHS Leadership team.

Your main responsibilities :

Lead EHS in the Water Utility Division: Be the main reference source and voice of GEHS in the Division. Guide the Divisional leadership team in deploying EHS ambitions. Advise Divisional LT on EHS. Conduct customer presentations on EHS sustainability. Educate Division on EHS sustainability topics and connect local EHS with appropriate Group support.Indirect Management: Drive results through managers/employees, enabling team and individual productivity. Create effective team collaborations. Promote cooperative efforts throughout the organization, spanning different geographical areas, departments, and expert hubs. This includes 1:1 meetings with Plant EHS and status meetings with Plant LT. Provide support for external assurance data audits. Support hiring of local EHS Managers and provide input for performance development dialogues (PDD). Onboard, train, mentor, and inspire new EHS managers. Advise local key stakeholders. Visit sites to identify best practices and areas for improvement. Review and provide input on local EHS plans to ensure alignment with Grundfos ambitions.As our support to our operation in US, you will work with our US Country President and their team on creating a framework and support system that enable Grundfos activities in US. Provide support to EHS personnel outside the assigned division, at a regional or country level. Support EHS managers on regulatory requirements and ensure collaboration and knowledge sharing across US sites, as needed to support performance and continuous development.Planning and Target Setting: Suggest targets for the Division. Set targets for plants within the Division. Ensure effective pipeline, quality application, and status communication of investment projects to Divisional LT.Ensuring EHS Standards: Support ISO processes and similar initiatives. Assist in preparation for audits and assessments. Promote knowledge-sharing meetings. Participate in routine GEHS meetings. Support the deployment of new projects, as guided by the CoEs in Group EHS. Support sites in improving production setups (measured as Grundfos Production System scores). Stay updated on key EHS topics and projects within the Division.Performance Management: Keep updated on EHS projects, performance status, and incident reporting. Conduct investigations and follow-up on corrective actions. Support KPI management and discussions of hypothesis and root causes in permanence follow up meeting in Group EHS and in the Division.Sales, Service, and Separations Brands / Regional Coordination: Provide support to Separation Brands within scope. Drive and coordinate EHS M&A due diligence within Divisions. Support Sales and Service on an ad hoc basis and in collaboration with colleagues in our regional support setup.

Your background

We imagine that you have:Master's degree or bachelor's degreeHead auditor possessing credentials in diverse ISO standardsNEBOSH Diploma/Certificate, Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) or equivalentExperience with developing and implementing EHS processes in a Global company.Experience developing on strategies and strategic initiatives within a complex business environment.Skilled in team coordination coupled with process management responsibilities.Most likely to have at least 10 years of relevant work experience before entering levelHighly capable of shaping decisions and inspiring team members.In-depth expertise in industry standards and applicable systems within the global and national context.The ability to operate daily out of the Brookshire, TX facility in a hybrid function and flexibility to work supporting teams in different time zones globally.A willingness to travel up to 15% if necessary. As a result, candidates should be able to maintain valid passport.
