Founded in 1976, Mason Gross School of the Arts is the flagship public arts conservatory of New Jersey and is part of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. The Department of Music, Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, is seeking a Part-Time Lecturer to teach the two-semester Art of Production sequence during the 2020-2021 academic year. This includes two 3-credit courses: Art of Production I: Recording in Fall 2020 and Art of Production II: Mixing in Spring 2021. The ideal candidate will have professional experience working in the areas of recording, mixing, and post-production, an advanced degree in the field of music technology/audio production (or equivalent professional experience), and teaching experience at the college level.Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:Bachelor's or master's degree (preferred) in the area of music technology/audio productionTeaching experience at the college level (preferred)Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Proficiency in Pro ToolsKnowledge of microphones, recording techniques, studio equipment, mixing techniques, audio plug-insAbility to operate a recording studioPosting Details
