Job DescriptionThe Anderson School is looking for at least one violin teacher with a passion for teaching beginners as young as three for an established schedule on Monday and/or Wednesday starting immediately. Opportunity to grow with additional lessons on the weekend as need demands.
Responsibilities:
Teach violin lessons to students of all ages, from young beginners to adults.
Instill a love for music in students and contribute to building a generation of lifelong musicians.
Maintain punctuality and attendance for all scheduled lessons.
Qualifications:
A degree in music with an emphasis in violin performance or pedagogy, or equivalent experience.
At least two years of teaching experience; current music majors will be considered.
Reside in the South Bay area, or have a locked-in date for moving to the area.
Schedule:Mondays: 3-7pmWednesdays: 2:45-7:15pmSaturdays: 12:30-4:00pmSundays: 10am-2pm
Compensation:Starting pay for a teacher with a music degree or equivalent experience is $45 per hour with a potential performance-based raise after a 60-day assessment period.
