The Devil’s Acre is a tribute to San Francisco’s Barbary Coast during the 1850s through the 1900s, a time when alcohol served as a cure for all ailments. If you like being part of a small team, enjoy live music and are detail-oriented, the barback position at The Devil’s Acre may be right for you. We are looking for persons who have experience in the restaurant, bar, or hotel industries or those looking to and are eager to learn. Typical hours are between 3:30 pm - 3:30 am.Responsibilities
Assist bartenders with daily serviceMaintain overall bar cleanlinessPrepare batches and other cocktail ingredientsWash and organize glasswareRetrieve and keep adequate levels of bar stockClean as part of opening and closing dutiesQualifications
Strong attention to detailAble to follow directionsBasic math skills or an ability to use a calculator and understand proportionsGood interpersonal skillsHas or is willing to obtain a CA Food Handler’s Certification and RBS training required21+ years of age or olderAbility to lift 40lbs. without assistanceBenefits
