The Concierge will greet potential residents, families, and visitors. Manage both external and internal calls, and effectively take and communicate messages. The Concierge provides an overview of community information to inquiries and supports the overall needs of the organization.Work Schedule/ Shift8a-11:30a Tues, Wed, Thurs; 3:30p-8p Sat & SunCompensation$16.85-$20.62/hourWhat you'll doProvides an excellent First Impression to residents & guests, always projecting a welcoming and professional image.Act as the point of reference for residents and families who need assistance or non-confidential information.Understand residents and families’ needs and provide them with personalized solutions.Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises, nearby venues, and businesses to make the most suitable recommendations for our residents and families.Arrange events, excursions, transportation, etc. upon request from residents and families.Answer the phone and make reservations, take and redirect calls, distribute messages and mail.Provides a variety of business services such as shipping packages and assisting with printing needs.Receives, stores, and/or delivers mail and luggage.Acquires daily care items such as toiletries for guests and patrons.Assists with planning and scheduling special events, parties, or meetings.Arranges for interpreters or translators when needed.Develops and maintains service relationships to fulfill the needs of vendors, residents, guests, and employees.Performs other related duties as assigned.Requirements & QualificationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Aptitude in resolving issues with a customer-focused orientation.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Must have a positive attitude with the ability to remain flexible and patient.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.At least two years’ experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community.A high school diploma or a degree in a relevant field.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must continually demonstrate ongoing sustained ability to perform these physical demands:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
