USN Surface Warfare Analyst

Harkcon, Inc. has need of a Surface Warfare Analyst to support a multi-year project with the U.S. Navy. You must be a former U.S. Navy Officer with prior Bridge Watchstanding experience.Required Qualifications:Former Surface Warfare Officer (SWO), Limited Duty Officer (LDO) or Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) with a minimum of 10 years US Navy Active-duty experienceMust have Combat Systems experience related to Aegis Combat and Weapons Systems or Ship Self Defense System (SSDS), and Shipboard Navigation SystemsMust have experience on Surface Combatant Ships to include a deployment in support of battle group operationsMust possess an Officer of the Deck (OOD) qualificationBachelor's degree from an accredited academic institutionMust be a U.S. CitizenActive U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance (interim accepted)Desired, but not required, Qualifications:Demonstrated experience in any of the following areas:

Complete a tour of duty on a CVN or Amphib Class Surface ShipCompletion of ship deployment in support of battle group operationsTest and Evaluation experienceTactics development and evaluationTactical Action Officer (TAO) qualificationNavy Instructor/Master Training Specialist (MTS)Specialty fleet systems qualifications

Work will be performed at a combination of locations: onsite at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (Dahlgren, VA), and our teaming partner's office (Dahlgren, VA), and telework.
