Help us reach new heights and receive the respect, rewards and recognition you deserve.The Interior Technical Trainer reports to the National Training Manager and builds an efficient and productive Technician workforce by providing comprehensive skill training and knowledge transfer. Working closely with field management, the Trainer teaches skills while developing, delivering, and enhancing training courses.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesUse proven methods to demonstrate, teach, and coach groups of Technician Trainees in automotive dent repair, paint, and wheel reconditioning techniquesTransfer knowledge and develop the skill of new employeesCoach past course graduates who may have technical questions or concernsTeach appropriate completion of administrative tasks including time sheets and purchase order submissions, Paid Time Off requests, etc.Author weekly progress reports to keep Trainee supervisors up-to-date on all things relevantMaintain operation’s manuals and ensure use of the most current informationPerform routine maintenance and upkeep of training areas and facilitiesAssemble new Technician manuals and wheel kits as necessaryOrder new training aides as neededFoster and maintain a safe, positive, and equitable working environmentManage inventory pulled for demonstration and practice during classesCreate itemized lists of tools for Technicians receiving a new start up setSchedule Trainee transportation to and from facilities and classesReturn phone calls, emails, etc. within 24 hoursFollow Company procedures, policies, and protocolsComplete other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsThorough understanding of Dent Wizard business and the organizationCompletion of specialized training in at least one of the service courses offeredKnowledge of training processes and procedures5+ years of experience in field reconditioning work2+ years of experience in field trainingExcellent demonstration, presentation, and communication skillsPhysical RequirementsRegularly required to stand and walkFrequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climbVision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focusAbility to lift to 45 pounds (light hand tools, etc.)Manual dexterity, repetitive motion tasksFrequent exposure to toxic chemicalsExposure to moderate noise levelsRespirators must be worn for paint application, and other protective equipment may be requiredThe compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.The starting compensation is expected to be:
