Summary:

Instruct and work with athletes with guidance from the head coach to prepare them for competition. The Assistant Coach reports to the Head Wrestling Coach and Athletic Director and is responsible for assisting with the wrestling program.Responsibilities:

Leadership is to be provided by the assistant coach in the following areas:Assisting with coordinating of varsity program and summer/off season programsImplementing of expectations and direction of the programPreparation of team for competitionTeaching fundamental and advanced skillsAttendance at CHSAA and League/Region Coaches' meetingsCommunication with parents, players, school staff, media, etc.Following BVSD, school and CHSAA regulations and policiesQualifications:

Required:Must be 21 years of age, or olderHigh School Diploma or equivalentComplete and submitted BVSD online applicationCommunicate (read, write, and speak) in EnglishPreferred:Previous coaching experience.Knowledge of all aspects of senior high school athletic/activity programming.Proven leadership qualities and successful experience in working with high school students.Salary Information:
