Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursingActive and unencumbered Registered Nurse license1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferredBLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart AssociationExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a teamProficient in electronic medical record systemsResponsibilities:
Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesiaAdminister prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staffCollaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge homeEducate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complicationsMaintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and proceduresBenefits:
