What you will doUnder direct supervision and local mentoring, the HVAC Controls Technician Intern will support the hardware design and software programming for HVAC control systems to meet the intent of the project requirements.

How you will do itOur Controls Technician Interns perform HVAC Control systems programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and preventative maintenance related to mechanical, electrical, and low voltage control components. They load system-level controller software, perform commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (e.g. sensors, actuators) and effectively communicate with our customers.What we look for

What we look forRequired Qualifications:· High school Diploma and currently enrolled in a community college· Understanding of HVAC systems, sequence, and applications· Demonstrated technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields· Able to use hand and power tools and electrical testing equipment such as a multimeter· Attention to detail· Good communication and listening skills
