What you will doPerforms assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools. Solves problems and resolves basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems. Responds to basic warranty calls.

How you will do itLoads system-level controller software. Performs basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (i.e., sensors, actuators, etc.) and completes all required commissioning documentationKeeps management and customers informed of job progress and issuesCalibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipmentCompletes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentationDocuments changes and provides information for as-built documentationCommunicate with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work siteFollows all safety standards and attends required safety training.A high degree of regard for employee and subcontractor safety.

What we look forRequiredProven technical capabilityAble to use hand tools (i.e., screwdrivers, wrenches, wire strippers)Strong computer skills requiredAttention to detailEffective communication and listening skillsDepending on location, the mounting and termination of low-voltage devices may have special licensing requirements.

PreferredTwo years experience in installing electronic and/or mechanical systems.Proven knowledge of HVAC systems.Diploma or certification in a related technology program
